Organizations that have a Genesys Cloud EX base product and license do not handle interactions inside Genesys Cloud, but can synchronize over configuration data, voice interaction data/recordings, and email interaction data from an external platform.

Fair use overage
A Genesys Cloud EX organization is subject to data storage and API request allocations according to fair use policy. Overage charges are applied when allocation is exceeded.
The total allocation for an organization is based on the number of employee licenses applied to the organization. For example, if an organization has 20 named user licenses, and since each user receives 75,000 API requests per month, the total allocation is 1,500,000 (=75,000*20). If an organization exceeds the total allocation, the organization is billed an overage charge for each additional API request.
