Ensure your Genesys Cloud organization (org) is activated

Ensure your Genesys Cloud organization (org) is activated and ready for configuration: .

Before you begin the activation process

Genesys Cloud requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) for additional security when you log in for the first time. Ensure that an authenticator application is available for use before the activation procedure. Genesys Cloud supports the following MFA methods:

  • Time-based Generator – Uses an authenticator application (such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator) to generate a temporary login code. Genesys recommends this method for first-time users.
  • Passkey – Uses a trusted device (such as face ID, fingerprint, Windows Hello, security key) for a faster and simpler login experience.

MFA configuration is a one-time task done at the time of activation. For the future logins, you will only enter the authentication code or approve the passkey request, as configured. For more information, see
