Manage activity codes
AI-generated summary
Genesys Cloud allows users to manage activity codes through the Workforce Management system, requiring "Workforce Management > Activity Code > Edit and Delete" permissions for modifications and deletions. Users access activity code management via Admin > Workforce Management > Business Units > Configuration > Activity Codes, where they can search and filter codes using column-based search functionality. The system supports editing individual activity code parameters by clicking the code name and saving changes. For deletion, users can select single or multiple codes via checkboxes or the More menu option, with confirmation prompts required before removal; however, default activity codes cannot be deleted. The Update Style action enables bulk styling changes across multiple activity codes simultaneously, allowing users to apply system default colors or custom background and text colors. Style modifications affect only visual appearance in supported Workforce Management scheduling experiences and take effect immediately without altering activity code configuration, category, work handling settings, adherence settings, or time settings. All bulk operations and style updates require appropriate Activity Code permissions verified through administrator confirmation. Genesys Cloud provides a feedback mechanism for users to evaluate article helpfulness and report content issues through a form that includes options to indicate whether the article answered questions or helped complete tasks, with specific reasons for negative feedback such as inaccurate or incomplete information, outdated content, or unclear presentation. Users can self-identify their role and provide contact information via email, with acknowledgment of the Genesys Cloud privacy policy required.
