Note: Genesys found a regression in Media Tier version 1.0.0.35120 related to WebRTC call legs in ACD interactions when using cloud media. Automatic updates to this build for cloud media are been disabled.
Enhancements and fixes
- Resolved an issue where certain CallEvents were missing, resulting in no caller participant appearing on the Timeline.
- Interoperability improvements for Microsoft Teams SIP calling.
- Resolved an issue where Edge could fail to locate a station ID, impacting call handling.
- Resolved an issue where whisper audio was not played to the agent during certain three-party call scenarios.
- Improved reliability of system-initiated station make call processing.
- Resolved an issue where soft disconnects received from the cloud were not properly handled.
- Better handling of situations where Modern WebRTC has been enabled, but phones have not yet received the modern configuration.
- Media recovery reliability improvements for premises Edge.
- Added support for configuring trunk language settings on GCV trunks.
- Added History-Info as a diversion method on BYOC trunks.
- Resolved an issue when a late media INVITE and ACK were received at the same time.
- Various minor fixes and improvements.

Updates for Genesys Cloud media have been disabled.
Premises update availability
Updates for hardware devices are available on Thursday, March 5, 2026. Administrators can choose to set a specific update schedule or perform a manual update.
- Available for manual update in all regions starting Thursday, March 5, 2026.
- Automatic updates have been disabled.
Note: Due to urgent fixes for security and stability, Genesys may push Edge updates and release Media Tier versions before a release note is updated.
