Can I receive calls with the Collaborate mobile app?

No. Collaborate for iOS and Android is not a telephony endpoint. For calls on mobile devices, Genesys recommends Genesys Cloud Communicate for iOS, available in the App Store.

How do I search with Collaborate for iOS?

To search for people or groups to chat with, tap Search . In the Find People and Official Groups field, type the name of the person or official group that you want to find.

To search for the profile of a person or group, follow these steps:

  1. Tap More .
  2. Tap Search.
  3. At the bottom, tap either Person or Group .
  4. In the Search field, begin to enter the name of the person or group. Collaborate displays the results that match.
  5. Tap the name of the person or group that you want. Collaborate displays their profile.

How do I create a new personal group with Collaborate for iOS?

To create a new personal group, tap New group  and give the new group a name.

How do I react to a chat message?

If your admin enables chat reactions, you can react to Collaborate chat messages. To react to a chat message, follow these steps:

  1. Tap and hold the message that you want to respond to.
  2. Above the message, do one of the following:
    • To express approval, tap Approve .
    • To express disapproval, tap Disapprove .
    • To express that you love the message, tap Love .
    • To use another emoji to express your reaction, tap Emoji and select the emoji from the options.
      Note: You can also quote or copy the message.

Can I pin a chat message in Collaborate?

If your admin for your org, chat room owners can pin chat messages for the room. To pin a message, long tap on the message that you want to pin and then tap Pin Message.
