Configure storage location of auth tokens

Feature coming soon

Administrators can choose whether to store auth tokens in persistent storage or session storage. Storing auth tokens in the persistent storage location is the default option. Some organizations prefer to store auth tokens in the persistent storage location to reduce the number of times a user is required to log in, such as on a browser refresh. Other organizations may prefer to store auth tokens in the session storage location to potentially reduce the risk of unauthorized access to an auth token.

Enable auth token storage in session storage

  1. Click Menu > Account > Organization Settings.
  2. Select the Authentication tab.
  3. Under Token Storage Location, select the Session option.
  4. Click Save. The system prompts you to accept or decline an acknowledgment message.
  5. Click Accept. If you decline, the operation is canceled and the auth token storage location is restored to its original state.
