Genesys Tempo for iOS schedules
How do I view my schedule with Genesys Tempo for iOS?
- Tap Schedule. The month appears in the top pane.
- Tap the date on the calendar.
Your schedule appears in the lower pane.
What schedules can I see with Genesys Tempo for iOS?
Tempo for iOS offers month and day views. It can display up to three years in the future and up to one year in the past. You can also see your shift, activities for the shift, and time-off requests.
How can I avoid a Session Expired message?
To avoid being forced to reauthenticate yourself at an inconvenient time due to an expired session, Genesys recommends the following:
- Log in when you begin your shift.
- Log out at the end of the day. For more information, see How do I log out of Genesys Cloud?.
Are there any functional differences between the desktop app and the browser app?
The Genesys Cloud desktop app and browser app offer nearly complete feature parity with a few exceptions:
- Only the browser app supports extensions.
- The desktop app uses your computer’s registry and default settings to determine region. If your computer does not have a region set, Genesys Cloud prompts you to select a region when load the app.
- The desktop app features a menu option that allows you to check for updates.
- When you enable screen recording, the desktop app records all screens automatically.
Can I update my Genesys Cloud app while I am on a call?
From time to time, new versions of Genesys Cloud become available. Genesys Cloud recommends that you end any calls before you refresh the app. If you refresh Genesys Cloud while you are on an active call, your call ends.
What is a session?
A session is an informal concept that describes the time between log in until one of the following:
- The user logs out.
- The user’s access times out.
- An admin logs a user out.
