Delete a file

Genesys Cloud provides file deletion functionality within its platform for users with appropriate Content Management permissions. To delete a file, users access the Menu bar, navigate to My Files, locate the target file through search or workspace browsing, hover over the file entry, select More under Actions, choose Delete, and confirm the deletion by clicking "Yes, delete this document." This process permanently removes files and enables document organization and cleanup within Genesys Cloud. The Content Management User permission must be assigned to a user's role to perform this operation.
