About events

Genesys Cloud supports external event ingestion from third-party systems including web tracking software, CRMs, customer data platforms, e-commerce platforms, and custom applications. The platform provides capabilities for managing external event schemas, managing events themselves, and performing identity resolution across external events. External event ingestion enables integration between third-party systems and Genesys Cloud, allowing organizations to consolidate data from multiple sources. The Resource Center documentation covers setup procedures, schema management, event management, and identity resolution functionality for implementing external event ingestion systems.
