Genesys Cloud – Secure pause conference recordings when all internal participants leave the call

In a future release, Genesys Cloud will allow supervisors to configure conference recordings to issue a secure pause automatically when all internal participants leave a conference call.

What’s changing

Supervisors will be able to enable a setting that issues a secure pause for conference recordings when all internal participants have left the call. The setting is disabled by default and can be configured at the organization level.

Why this matters

This enhancement helps organizations meet compliance and security requirements by preventing recordings from continuing after agents leave a conference. It gives supervisors greater control over conference recording behavior and helps ensure that recordings capture only the portions of the interaction that involve internal participants.
