In a future release, Genesys Cloud will expand the employee inclusion rules for activity plans and let administrators edit selected activity plan settings after creation. These updates reduce manual rework, help administrators target smaller employee groups, and make it easier to keep activity plans aligned with changing rules and policies.
What’s changing
- Administrators can use expanded filtering options in the attendee and facilitator rule builder to dynamically include or exclude employees in activity plans.
- The rule builder now supports ACD skills, queues, divisions, work teams, reports to, groups, management units, business units, locations, languages, and up to 50 individual users.
- Administrators can edit selected activity plan settings for new and future scheduled sessions, including activity code, session limits, group minimums and maximums, start time increment, and session length.
- Existing sessions remain unchanged after an edit, which helps preserve scheduled work that is already in progress.
Why this matters
- These changes help administrators build more precise scheduling rules without creating extra plans or manually adjusting user lists.
- They also let administrators update an activity plan when rules or policies change, instead of recreating the plan from scratch.
