Genesys Cloud – Communicate mobile app rebrand and updated user experience

In a future release, Genesys Cloud will rebrand the Communicate Mobile app to the Associate Mobile app and update the app user interface to match the current Genesys Cloud visual design. This update makes the mobile experience more consistent across screens and platforms, improves accessibility in light and dark themes, and reduces UI differences between iOS and Android.

What is changing

  • App name and branding — the app name, icon, splash screen, and store metadata will show Associate Mobile and remove remaining “Communicate” references.
  • Consistent navigation and controls — the app will standardize navigation behavior across views and modernize key controls (including call controls).
  • Accessibility and theme alignment — the updated UI will align to WCAG 2.2 AA expectations across themes, including improved dark mode contrast and support for dynamic type.
