Agentic AI continues to evolve, delivering greater intelligence, efficiency, and measurable results than traditional bots. To reflect these enhanced capabilities and ongoing innovation, on the effective date, Genesys Cloud will update the pricing for these Bring Your Own Technology (BYOT) rates:
- BYOT-E for Audio Connectors
- BYOT-A for third-party Text-to-Speech (TTS) voices
On August 5, 2026, Genesys plans to end native support for the following text-to-speech (TTS) products. After this date, these offerings will be treated as third-party integrations.
To continue using these TTS solutions, customers must migrate to Bring Your Own TTS – Audio (BYOT-A) and access them through AppFoundry. For guidance on timelines, impact, and required actions, review the Deprecation announcement.
The affected products are:
- Google WaveNet and Neural Voices
- Microsoft Azure Neural Voices
- Google Standard TTS Voices
What’s changing
On January 1, 2026, Genesys will adjust the pricing to BYOT-E and BYOT-A and update the BYOT pricing page accordingly. The impact for existing customers using BYOT-E and BYOT-A depends on the current usage and commitment volumes.
- BYOT-E (Rate E) for third-party Audio Connectors: Increases to $0.10 per minute.
- BYOT-A (Rate A) for third-party Text-to-Speech (TTS) voices: Increases to $4 per million characters.
How to prepare
The timing and actions of completion for customers using BYOT-A and BYOT-E services depends on current usage and commitment volumes.

Google TTS Standard Voices and Enhanced TTS Neural and Wavenet Voices (Microsoft Azure and Google) | Genesys plans to transition these voices to the Bring Your Own TTS – Audio (BYOT-A) model after the planned end-of-support date. For details on how to prepare, review the Deprecation announcement. |
