What is the Genesys Cloud European Sovereign Region?

The Genesys Cloud European Sovereign Region is a new, independent deployment of Genesys Cloud within the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, located in Brandenburg, Germany.

The AWS European Sovereign Cloud is an independent cloud in the European Union. This independent cloud is designed to help customers meet sovereignty requirements such as European Union data residency, operational autonomy, and management by European Union-based personnel.

Genesys’s support of the AWS European Sovereign Cloud region for Genesys Cloud deployment helps customers requiring data sovereignty. Genesys Cloud customers in the European Union can choose this new region for their main site location.
