Create a Edge/trunk graph

As a telephony administrators , you can create a custom dashboards of live metrics to monitor the performance of your Genesys Cloud telephony network. For more information on the available metrics, see Edge/trunk metrics.


  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under Telephony, click Metrics.
  3. Click Menu > Digital and Telephony > Telephony > Metrics.
  4. On the upper-right area of the screen, click the +Add Metric button.
  5. When  the New Graph section appears, you can name your graph by entering text in the Name field. (If you don’t enter a name, Genesys Cloud will autogenerate a generic name based on your selections.
  6. From the Metric drop down, select one of the available metrics.
  7. If you choose an Edge-based metric:
    1. Under For, select All Edges in Sites or Edges.
    2. If you select All Edges in Sites, use the Select Sites drop down to select your site or sites.
    3. If you select Edges, use the Select Edges drop down to select your Edge or Edges.
    4. Select from the additional options that appear, as described in the Additional options section in this article.
  8. If you choose a trunk-based metric:
    1. Under For, select External Trunks or Phone Trunks.
    2. If you select  External Trunksuse the Select External Trunks drop down to select your external trunk or trunks.
    3. If you select Phone Trunksuse the Select Phone Trunks drop down to select your phone trunk or trunks.
    4. Select from the additional options that appear, as described in the Additional options section in this article.
  9. Click Save.
