Genesys Cloud – Web messaging content profile support

A future release will expand supported content profiles for web messaging deployments. Genesys will automatically add a predefined content profile to existing organizations that use web messaging. The new content profile, WebMessaging Legacy Default, will include only image file types (.jpg, .png, .gif). All existing Messenger deployments will link to the new predefined profile. To avoid any impact to the organization after the feature releases, image attachments will continue to operate. After the feature releases, the organization can retain the new content profile as is, or update it as needed, including assigning the deployment to other content profiles with expanded file types support.
