Genesys Cloud – Improved work automation UI for better admin and builder experience

In a future release, Genesys Cloud will enhance the work automation user interface to provide a more intuitive experience for admins and builders. These updates are based on insights from Content Square data, which revealed opportunities to improve menu layout and tooltip clarity and make navigation and data entry smoother for administrators and work automation builders. The improved placement of tooltips, reorganization of dropdown lists, and clearer descriptions ensure that critical information is easier to access and understand. 

These changes are designed to improve usability but do not alter core functionality.

The toggle is replaced with a segmented control button, and light/dark theme options are removed for simplicity.

• Tooltip placement is moved from beside the fields to next to the labels, with improved descriptions for clarity.
• Three tooltips are updated to inline alerts, help text, and descriptive text for better visibility.

Auto status transitionsClick to expand

• Transition selection dropdown lists are grouped by status category for easier navigation.
• Specified durations are now displayed in an improved and user-friendly format. For example, converting 1.3 days into 1 day, 7 hours, and 12 minutes.
