Genesys Cloud – Dynamic Cloud Voice Platform as the default for new BYOC Cloud trunks

In a future release, Genesys Cloud will make the Dynamic Cloud Voice Platform the default platform for all new BYOC Cloud trunks. New trunks will automatically use the Dynamic Cloud Voice Platform, and administrators will no longer be able to select the legacy platform during trunk creation. Existing BYOC Cloud trunks will continue to use their current platform unless administrators choose to migrate them.
What’s changing
Genesys Cloud will:
- Automatically configure all new BYOC Cloud trunks to use the Dynamic Cloud Voice Platform.
- Remove the option to create new BYOC Cloud trunks on the legacy platform.
- Continue to support existing BYOC Cloud trunks on their current platform until administrators choose to migrate them.

Action required
No action is required for existing BYOC Cloud trunks.
All new BYOC Cloud trunks created after this release automatically use the Dynamic Cloud Voice Platform. Existing trunks remain on their current platform unless you choose to migrate them.
