In a future release, Genesys Cloud will enable workforce management administrators to customize the background and font colors used for activity codes. Consistent color coding helps administrators and agents identify scheduled activities more quickly and makes schedules easier to interpret at a glance.
What’s changing
Administrators can configure the background and font color for each activity code.
These colors appear consistently throughout Workforce Management, helping users quickly recognize activities across schedules and related views.
This update also includes the following changes:
- Shrinkage reporting displays the default system colors for activity codes until administrators customize them.
- The Schedule Editor includes a check mark icon to clearly indicate the selected activity, even when custom colors are in use.
Benefits
This feature enables organizations to:
- Apply consistent color coding to activity codes across Workforce Management.
- Improve schedule readability for administrators and agents.
- Make it easier to identify scheduled activities without relying solely on activity names.
Action required
Review your existing activity codes and configure custom colors as needed to align with your organization’s scheduling standards.
If you do not customize activity code colors, the default system colors continue to be used.
