Genesys Cloud – AI Studio configuration for Copilot AI agents

In a future release, Genesys Cloud will enable administrators to manage which AI agents are available through Copilot in AI Studio and configure how Copilot communicates with users. Administrators can enable or disable available AI agents, configure Copilot response tone and verbosity, and review configuration changes through audit logs.

What’s changing

Administrators can use AI Studio to configure the AI agents available through Copilot for their organization to:

• Enable or disable available AI agents.
• View only the AI agents available for configuration.
• Review audit logs that record who made configuration changes, what changed, and when the changes occurred.
• Configure Copilot response tone and verbosity to control how Copilot communicates with users and the level of detail included in its responses.

When Copilot is enabled for the first time, all currently available Genesys Cloud AI agents are enabled by default. AI agents that are required for core Copilot functionality remain enabled and cannot be configured. Newly released AI agents are disabled by default so that administrators can review them before making them available across the organization.

• Control which AI agents are available throughout the organization.
• Help ensure users have access only to approved AI agents.
• Track configuration changes through audit logs for compliance and troubleshooting.
• Simplify administration as new AI agents become available.

Action required

After this feature becomes available, review the list of available AI agents in AI Studio and update the organization-wide configuration as needed.

No action is required if you want to keep the default configuration, which enables all currently available Genesys Cloud AI agents when Copilot is first enabled.
