Genesys Cloud – New primary filter option for workitem types in List View

In a future release, Genesys Cloud will add the ability for List View users in Work Automation to use Type Name (for example, future Task type), as a primary filter, alongside the existing Workbin filter. Previously, users could only filter their workitems by Workbin, which limited visibility to items within a single container. To locate all workitems of a particular type, users had to manually configure complex filters or review multiple Workbins. 

With this update, users can quickly view all workitems of a specific type across all Workbins in their division. This feature provides a more flexible and efficient way to manage and locate work, especially as the platform evolves to support more task, and case-based workflows.
